Insiders Major update 1.2



We are finally at the second major update of the game! Again we could have not done it without our supporters. This is just the beginning! I plan to add more and more features to the game!

Update 1.2 

The new update will feature a new map which is "The Kidney". The new map features new challenges and new mechanics. One of the new main additions to the game is the Megalaser! which provides faster mining, huge amounts of damage and is the key in eradicating kidney stones! Which is the main quest in this new kidney biome.

New features: 

1. The Megalaser

One of the new features of your ship is the Megalaser. This weapon is directly mounted on your ship. Which provides faster mining and more damage to enemies! This is the key weapon used in completing your objectives in the kidney.

2. Bacteria Companion and Bacteria manufacturing building 

You can now have your very own companion! This bacteria helps you in fighting and carrying your items. Can also be ordered to stay, follow and attack depending on your play style. You can create your Bacteria companions in the bacteria manufacture base module.

3. DNA Assembly

You will now get DNA samples for scanning objects. These DNA samples can be bound together to create more complex pieces of DNA. The more DNA you scan the more you can create better, more advanced, and more lethal bacteria companions.

4. New Enemy mechanics and Asteroid Storm 

A new map can't be without new challenges! There will be flying stones on the kidney map that can hit your ship and cause damage. You will need to seek cover inside your base to protect your ship. Also, new bacteria in the kidneys can now multiply before attacking. Be careful!

5. New Story, Quests and Resources 

There will be 5 new parts of the main story added and over 20 new quests to complete. New resources to be mined for the new buildings, weapons and modules.

Performance Optimization and Visual Upgrades: 

  •  The entire game system was redesigned to get better performance for new maps. 
  •   Quest calculation and UI redesign
  •   Game start redesign 
  •   Two extra quests to learn player movement and to find boxes with loots
  •   Object layers reworked to correctly show enemies in dark vision
  •   New fog system on new map set to get better look and performance
  •   Assets in memory cleared for better game performance

 Bug Fixes and balances: 

  •   Enemy damage balancing
  •   Dynamic object loading/unloading related to huge kidney stones
  •   Bug fixes that made game performance improve
  •   Around 100+ more bug fixes
